Dr Robyn McConnell
Robyn graduated from the University of Queensland with honours and spent several years working in Queensland Hospitals gaining experience in a diverse mix of medical and surgical specialties. She joined the Family medicine Program in 1991 and went on to gain the Fellowship of the RACGP. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree obtained at the University of Queensland prior to undertaking her medical degree. Robyn has a special interest in Women’s Health but enjoys the diversity of general medicine.
Kiara, Mandy & Jessica
Jessica is a Registered Nurse and one of the Practice Nurses at Fraser Coast Medical Centre, providing a broad range of clinical services with a strong focus on diabetes education. In her role as a Diabetes Nurse Educator, she enjoys empowering people living with diabetes to understand their condition, make informed decisions, and feel confident managing their day-to-day health. Jessica values clear communication, compassion, and collaborative care.
Mandy is a Registered Nurse and Practice Nurse at Fraser Coast Medical Centre. She has a keen interest in wound care and takes pride in helping patients through their treatment and recovery. Mandy is a strong advocate for her patients and is committed to making sure they feel listened to, respected and involved in their healthcare. She brings a warm, caring approach to her role and enjoys building trusting relationships with patients and providing personalised support.
Kiara is an Enrolled Nurse here at Fraser Coast Medical Centre and is the newest member of our nursing team. She is enthusiastic about expanding her knowledge and developing her skills across all areas of nursing, with a genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn. Kiara is passionate about helping people feel empowered and positively involved in their own healthcare. She hopes to make a meaningful difference to patients by offering kindness, comfort, and steady support while advocating for their needs throughout their healthcare journey. She is committed to creating a safe and caring environment where patients feel heard, respected and supported, particularly during challenging times.
